A case study in political frame ups
On May 19th 2005 a US District Court in Washington DC filed a warrant for the arrest of Sean Garland after a Federal Grand Jury indicted him in for allegedly trading in forged $100 bills. The hearing took place in camera without the knowledge of the accused and the warrant was obtained just before the statute of limitation for the alleged crimes, which dated back to 1998 to 2000, would have run out.
